Tarot, a centuries-old divination tool, has become increasingly popular as a means of gaining insight and guidance. However, the history and representation of diverse cultures within the tarot community have often been overlooked. In this blog post, I aim to shed light on the significant contributions of Black individuals to the world of tarot and explore how the tarot can be a tool for empowerment, education, and celebration of Black history.

These practices often incorporate elements of divination, symbolism, and intuition. By acknowledging these connections, we can better understand the cultural significance of tarot within the African diaspora.
Afro-Centric Tarot Decks: In recent years, there has been a surge in Afro-centric tarot decks that celebrate and honor Black history and culture. These decks incorporate African symbolism, archetypes, and deities, offering a representation that resonates with individuals of African descent.
